Soil Testing:

Soil excavations (test pits) conducted by a Licensed Designer are done to accurately establish soil conditions across the primary and replacement sewage disposal areas.  A minimum of 2 test pits are required in each area, a soil profile is created from the test pit, the soil horizons are measured and differentiated by color, texture, density, structure, seasonal high water table, and bedrock found within the test pit.
